The design of flood protection measures in the Kolešovický Stream basin consisted of the following parts:
- Descriptive Part:
- Field survey
- Water conditions and water use (abstractions, discharges, pollution sources, water quality)
- Analytical and Design Part:
- Revitalization and renaturation of watercourses
- Increasing the retention capacity of watercourses and floodplains
- Improvement of hydromorphology, reduction of sediment transport
- Creation of habitats for biodiversity
- Reduction of pollution load from point sources
- Final Evaluation:
- List of potential and feasible measures
- Summary assessment of benefits
