The purpose was to develop a territorial landscape study for the administrative district of ORP Plzeň. The territorial study of the landscape was procured by the Town Planning Office for the entire administrative district of the municipality with extended competence. The ÚSK was developed as a territorial study within the meaning of Section 25 and Section 30 of the Building Act and after meeting the requirements of this Act, it became one of the basic bases for planning and decision-making activities, especially for urban planning authorities, nature conservation, building authorities and other institutions involved in landscape decision-making. The ÚSK was also used to supplement and refine the territorial analytical data of ORP. The territory of interest had an area of 261.5 km².

The aim of the project was to develop software that, using a combination of data from aerial laser scanning and quantitative monitoring of water flows, can generate geometric data below the surface of the water, including bank edges and bathymetry. The result is a tool that can be used in the commercial sphere, design and for preparing data for mathematical models and GIS analysis.

In 2022, our company conducted a Water Audit (VA) for the ŠKODA AUTO plant in Kvasiny, which analyses and optimises water management in accordance with ISO 46001. The audit aims to minimise water consumption and the risks associated with its availability, with ŠKODA being one of the most economical companies with 1.2 m³ of water per vehicle produced. Due to the impending shortage of surface water during dry periods, the audit proposes to use treated wastewater from own sources as well as from the nearby Solnice Plumbing Plant, thus increasing water recycling from 40% to 65%.

Artificial floating islands with vegetation are innovative technologies using natural processes to purify waters, promote biodiversity, protect shores and create sustainable landscapes. As part of the TAČR TH02030633 project, design solutions of floating islands were tested on Lipno reservoir, which could partially replace the functions of the missing coastal zone in our reservoirs. The aim was to develop a mechanically durable, affordable and biologically functional design to support the ecological potential of tanks with fluctuating levels.

ÚV Adolfovice is a strategic and irreplaceable source of drinking water for the Jeseník-Mikulovice Group Water Pipeline, which supplies drinking water to the town of Jeseník and the municipalities of Bělá pod Pradědem, Česká Ves, Písečná, Hradec-Nová Ves and Mikulovice (water transferred). The HVAC supplies about 75% of the water to this system, while the remaining 25% is replenished by the water source Prameniště Křížový vrch, which, however, has a significantly fluctuating capacity, but the HVAC is quite capable of replacing these fluctuations. Through the Jeseník-Mikulovice Group Water Pipeline, more than 15 thousand inhabitants of Jeseník are supplied.
