Reconstruction of Vokačovský Pond

Vokačovský Pond was drained in the late 20th century with a requirement for complete reconstruction. It is a through-flow pond located on the Mlýnský (Vokačovský) stream.

The scope of the contract involved preparing design documentation for the pond's rehabilitation, complying with the requirements of the Operational Programme Environment (OPE) subsidy scheme. The original repair design required revision to meet OPE criteria and to protect newly discovered specially protected species in accordance with Act No. 114/1992 Coll. The design changes were successfully negotiated with authorities; modifications to the building permit and water rights permit were secured, as was the subsidy funding.

Dam height above terrain: max. 6 m (downstream face)

Reservoir volume (at max. authorized water level  hmax.): approx. 135,000 m³ (V2 ≈ 50,000 m³, Vo ≈ 85,000 m³)

Flooded area (at hmax.): approx. 6.5 ha

Investment cost: CZK 13 million (control budget according to tender documentation, excl. VAT)
