Vodovod Vír — restoration of water supply Štěpánovice

The subject of the project was the restoration of the water supply from the Vír water treatment plant in its part, which was evaluated as the most risky in view of the frequent recurrent failures from the point of view of reliable operation of the Brno water system. The importance of safe operation of this feeder for the water system is important in the dry season, which exacerbates the risk of decreasing the abundance of the Březová water source.

The actual reconstruction consists of replacing the existing HOBAS fiberglass pipe with another pipe material. Ductile iron pipe DN1400 profile will be used for reconstruction. The actual reconstruction will be carried out on a length of 390 m.

At the same time, the reconstruction of the existing calorific duct will also be carried out. In this case, HOBAS fiberglass pipes are also replaced by ductile iron pipes.

The reconstruction of the feeder pipe will take place in its full length in the field, on the western outskirts of the town of Drásov.

The performance of VRV on the project is an investor-engineering activity involving the processing of the grant application, the performance of technical supervision and the coordinator of OSH and the administration of the project (subsidies from the Ministry of Health and Safety).
